HyVee Arena is currently looking for entry-level guest services positions. This position is the first contact with facility customers for HyVee Arena. Employment will start once all paperwork is complete.
Duties and skills include:
- Cordially greet internal and external customers and clients;
- Communicate to customers and clients, listen to their needs, present ideas and solutions to their requirements;
- Calmly address comments and complaints in person, by phone and/or email;
- Maintain composure under stressful, crisis and high-pressure situations;
- Accept payments for facility usage;
- Assign courts, communicate usage to facility staff and accept payments
- Other duties as assigned
HyVee Arena is open daily from 7am – 10pm. Salary $13.50/hr
No phone calls or walk-ins.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work independently and as a team;
- Able to work a schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays;
- Able to push, pull, bend, lift to 25 lbs., and be mobile as needed;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the use of tablets;
- Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in a professional manner;
- Experience in sports as an athlete is preferred, but not required;
