HyVee Arena is currently looking for entry-level guest services positions. This position is the first contact with facility customers for HyVee Arena. Employment will start once all paperwork is complete.
Duties and skills include:
Cordially greet internal and external customers and clients;
Communicate to customers and clients, listen to their needs, present ideas and solutions to their requirements;
Calmly address comments and complaints in person, by phone and/or email;
Maintain composure under stressful, crisis and high-pressure situations;
Accept payments for facility usage;
Assign courts, communicate usage to facility staff and accept payments
Other duties as assigned
HyVee Arena is open daily from 7am – 10pm. Salary $11/hr
No phone calls or walk-ins.

Work independently and as a team;
Able to work a schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays;
Able to push, pull, bend, lift to 25 lbs., and be mobile as needed;
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the use of tablets;
Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in a professional manner;
Experience in sports as an athlete is preferred, but not required;
